i was having a problem with my 2004 jeep liberty. there was a bad vibration coming from the rear end between 40 and 50 miles an hour. if i turned off the overdrive switch on the shift handle, the vibration would stop. i stopped by the lee myle's on vet's hwy in bohemia n.y. and discussed my problem with dave. i was very impressed with the shop itself. i found it to have a nice clean customer waiting room. dave explained to me what he thought the problem might be? he then told me that the diagnosis was free and that he'd call me to let me know what he found. the next day, dave called and explained that after a full check of the tranny there may be something internally wrong but he said that just taking care of the tranny maintenance might solve the problem. he told me the price to change the filter and replace the tranny fluid with synthetic fluid. he also told me that if this didn't work. the price i paid would be credited towards a full repair on the tranny. he explained that this is the path he would take if it was his car/truck. i agreed and ask him to do the work. when i called to see about the jeep. dave had left for the day and brian who answered the phone was as courteous and knowlegable as dave and explained to me that the jeep was ready to be picked-up. i picked-up the jeep and the vibration problem has seemed to disappeared. my thanks to dave and brian for a most pleasent and professional experience. and for treating me as a customer should (always) be treated.
